Avocados are not only a good, healthy foodstuff. They are excellent for your hair and skin as well.

Avocado contains Vitamins A,C,E and K and has the good fatty acids in the form of Omega, which not only creates soft hydrated skin, but can relieve some skin diseases.


Use avocado for tired, puffy eyes - mash and rub in a gentle circular motion around each eye. Lie back and relax for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. One can use it as a face and body mask as well.

To treat your hair, use 1 or 1/2 avocado, depending on the length of your locks. Mash it up with 1 egg yolk and a teaspoon of any vegetable oil. Spread evenly through your hair and leave for 1/2 an hour. Rinse thoroughly.

Avocado oil is ideal to deep treat dry hair. Take one tablespoon of the oil plus 1/2 a glass of beer. Mix. After shampooing, apply to your hair. Leave 5 minutes and rinse off with warm water.
